I purchased a Ford Fiesta Classic from A B Motors Dehradoon in mid June. Two tyres cracked within 1700 kms one after the other within four days after the car was just two months old. I have written to Mr Michael Boneham, CEO Ford India explaining details and demanded compensation..but to no avail. My local dealer has been kind enough to replace just one tyre though. The tyres have cracked from the side walls and not one but two tyres consecutively. This clearly indicates poor manufacturing quality/defect. Even the quality of remaining three tyres is therefore suspect. I have written to the CEO Ford India for a replacement of all five tyres. The Company has been unreasonable in refusing to replace these tyres.
