Delay in services

My car SWIFT VXI was in an accident on GT karnal road near panipat dated 30 july and was given for repairs to the above mentioned service centre on the very same day. i was told that i would get it back by 25th august. when i called them on 25th they told me that they would take another 5 to 6 days for repairs. today it is 13 th sept and they still want 2 weeks more . when asked whats taking so long they tell me some stories about the unavailable spare parts . its very hard to catch hold of these people on phone . i have never seen such negligence in any deptt. in my life. i would like to file RTI against these people. any other suggestions which could help my cause are most welcome.
