I bought an insurance for my car on 10 Aug 10. As per my bank statement, HDFC ERGO encashed the cheque on 18 Aug. It is 20 Sep today, and there is still no sight of the Insurance Policy. The agent doesnt pick up the phone. Registered an online complaint with HDFC ERGO on 10 Sep. On 14th they replied and asked me for my previous policy which I sent on the 15th. Till today, am still waiting for a response. I DREAD TO THINK WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF I EVER NEED TO MAKE A CLAIM. Listen, all you nice people, who take the trouble to check the CONSUMER COMPLAINTS website..take nore of my experience with HDFC ERGO, and never ever insure with them.
