Dear Sir,

This has reference to denial of services for replacement of damaged lock, spring of caarier and break rubber of HERO Ranger STICH 26T, Frame No. HKH26651 purchased in Septembe 2011 as per details below :

Dealer – Nawab & Co., K 58/98, Maidagin, Varanasi

Cash Memo No. 1068 dt. 05.09.2011 Book No. 22

Rate Charged - Rs. 2953/- plus VAT Rs.147.65/- Total Invoice Value = Rs.3100.65/-

Dealer Mr. Aftab Khan has claimed that HERO Group does not support for replacement parts in warranty/gurranty and hence he is bound for repairs only and cannot do replacement. Spring of carrier was damaged and being the manufacturing defect and we are under gurranty period it should be replaced by dealer. Damage of basic things in period of less than 2 months for such a reputed product of Hero company is not good for company itself. Dealer also denied to give contact number of HERO marketing group handling customer complaints in our area, which has compelled undersigned to take up this matter directly with Factory. It was really surprising to hear form dealer that nobody from HERO Cycles Marketing visit Dealers to take feedback of customers.

I found address from online consumer complain forum. I have also sent hand written complaints to above address along with copy of memo.

This matter needs to be investigated further with proper justification that how product can be billed by Dealer above your MRP List

Hope Company of your repute will definitely loook into this matter seriously and revert back with proposed action.
