I mr Balkrishna raikar purchased a Honda Dio bike on 17/06 bearing registration no GA 07 H 5934, i did my first servicing on 24/08 (at 648km) and second on 17/10 (at 3060km)..
on 30/01 on my way back home, from work by bike stopped in between, i took it to a local mechanic he told me that the CDI UNIT had failed. since its a new bike and under warranty take it to the company an get it replaced,
I toed bike bike to the company service center on 31/01 the service engineer over there told me that CDI UNIT is not in stock and i'll have to speak to the manager to get it replaced and he was not on duty on that day.. so i had to toed my bike back home.. after repeated visits i managed to meet the manager on 04/02 he told me that i have to pay for cdi unit as he said my bike warranty has expired coz i had done my second servicing 10 days late (since i m working i dint get the servicing date on my off days, whenever i wanted their servicing was full)
my bike carries a 2 years standard warranty and 5 years extended warranty...
what are the necessary steps to be taken as my 07 months old bike is lying ideal at home!
