I was planning to buy Honda Shine and visited the dealer (Prasanna Honda) in Coimbatore. The display board states Rs. 58336 as On Road Price. But the dealer is not ready to give the vehicle unless we pay Rs. 63, 661 (Approx 5300 more than the On road Price).

His statement is 'the on road price is not including Registration charges. Apart from that he is adding AMC, Additional Warranty, Accessory as compulsory elements.

The Manager himself gave me this quotation and stated that if you want you can buy our vehicle, or you can walk out...

Not sure if we are at the mercy of these vendors... Can someone take action on this please? I am sure it is the same story for all Honda scooters and bikes in all over India.
