I would like share my terrible experience with Honda service. I bought the Honda Unicorn in Nov 09 from Surya motors, Chennai, and gave the byke to Surya motors for the first service Dec 09, and problem started thereafter. After the service, Rear brake is not working sharply as it used to be before the service ie say When I am riding at the speed of 50 kmph If I apply the rear brake, it stops the vehicle completely only after in 8 to 10 meters I took my byke to Surya motors 3 times. For the first 2 times they did not do anything. Initially service man did not accept the issue at all After I rode the byke with him, he then accepted and said he would rectify the brake issue. They just made me wait for 2 to 3 hrs each time returned saying the issue was rectified. After I escalated the issue, in 3rd time they seem to have rectified the problem little bit and finally hey say "I need to apply both front and rear brakes together to stop the vehicle". My concern is rear brake was working sharply before the service. However now If I apply the rear brake, it stops the vehicle completely only after in 8 to 10 meters which is very risky. We can't always apply both the brakes to stop the vehicle which they dont understand.
I am not asking them to add any new feature. I am just asking that was working by default before the service. I believe in Honda however I am very much disappointed with Honda service and no longer want to visit Surya motors again. I've lost the hope with Surya motors and Honda as well.
