Baterry problem

Hi,

I have purchased hyundai i10 on Ist january. This vehicle showed power complaint on 20th April, I have informed the mgf service person, as per his instruction, I tried to start the car normally, then with huge sound its battery blasted. The fluid from the battery spread the whole parts. They find out its a major complaint from Exide battery and they are ready to replace the battery. But my problem is that the fluid will cause a corrosion in my vehicle internal parts. I am very much disappointing in this incident, I have asked to my friends, also searched in net to know the chances to blast a battery, there is no reasons. So I am suspecting that my vehicle has some defect and also worried in case of corrosion chances. So please let me know that the chances of replacement of vehicles in case these kind of manufacturing defects.
