Hello,

I would like to introduce myself as Jayant Banerjee whose vehicle maruti Estilo with No. CG07 M 6507 met with an accident on 2nd August. We took the accident vehicle to Sparsh automobiles Raipur thinking of fast settlement. But only the survey has been done and no other procedures have been taken place till date.

We filled the claim form on 3rd August and were cooperated by one Mr. Abraham from Sparsh Automobiles accident repair division. On 3rd August estimation of the damaged vehicle was done by the showroom and presented to the Iffko Tokyo Maruti Insurance company, Surveyor from Insurance company came for inspection after around 10 days..

We continuously met Mr. Abraham who gave us the no. of the surveyor Mr. Shyam Chabra, and kept calling him at least 4-5 times /week enquiring about the development. We were asked what we want and we said we want a total loss and he filed the case accordingly to the insurance company and said lets see what decision comes. We kept getting very cold response from the surveyor. He kept giving us various reasons for more than 2 months which was not liable.

After pressuring the surveyor he said total loss had not been accepted and we are trying for the body shell and filed the paper accordingly but no response after that from him. Then suddenly one day we received a letter from the surveyor asking to get an estimate for the cutting and welding of the body parts which when discussed and also confirmed by the surveyor that Sparsh automobiles have denied to do this kind of surgery which is not possible. Another inspection was done by the surveyor with his assistant Mr. Ganesh and they confirmed that since the repairing cost is so high we will give the order for the replacement of the entire body shell. Mr. Abraham asked for the work order and he said it will be given after the replacement is finalized by Iffko Tokyo. Then again 2 weeks passed and my father received a call from Mr. Chabra saying that you can ask Mr. Abraham to start repairing the vehicle. When contacted by Mr. Abraham he said he has not received the work order and he can’t start the work. I made a call to Mr. Chabra and asked Mr. Abraham to speak to him who again demanded the work order. Mr. Chabra said he can’t give the repair order in writing as this is not the policy of the company. My vehicle had been lying at the roof of Sparsh Automobile for almost 5 months and due to this all the tires had also been damaged. Kindly provide a suitable solution as this case is giving a very big mental harassment. The vehicle was financed by ICICI bank and we are paying the monthly installments regularly though our vehicle is lying at the roof.
