Poor Delivery of Cylinders

Dear Sir,
With reference to the mentioned subject, I am holding an Indane gas connection with dealer Shoba Gas, Nungambakkam. I dont know if the problem persist with the Agency / the Company (indane gas). When I call them, the responses given are either call after 19th as we will be able to take the booking only then. Or they tell me it will be delivered on 6th of next month. We dont receive the cylinder till 10th and on follow up they inform us it will be sent in another 2-3 days time.
I feel it is totally a lethargic way of working in these agency. They inform us the delay is due to poor supply of cylinders to them. I fail to understand if the policy is in 21 days the cylinder is to be booked and given can't the agency / Indane Gas company track this out of the basic consumer requirements.
We have come to know from known sources that the cylinders are being sold in black. The poor experience with this agency is that they had supplied leakage gases and on regular follow up for 4 days it got replaced. We were forced to keep the leakage cylinder inside the house with infants and elderly people at risk. After the late supply of cylinder as well we are facing problem of lekages of gas. On follow up the employees just bang the phone on us early morning. Are we suppose to put with all these factors instead of paying the regular cylinder cost? is there any solution or action being taken against this?
After several ways of explaining them, though I dont get any other way than escalating this issue to you.
I hope you will be taking a prompt action against the Agency / Company.
I also suggest, consumer be given the right to change the Agency according to their wish rather than putting up with these kind of agency. Unless we create a competitive market for these agency, there will be only poor service from them.
