Excess fare Ticket

Sir,

we had purchased an e-ticket under Tatkal Scheme. My mother in law and a cousin were travelling in 2945 Tapti Ganga Express on 28.7.10.The PNR is 8401278359. During the journey the TTI insisted for Indentity proof, which the passangers did not have. The rules for the Tatkal Scheme states that 'No Identity proof is required to be produced neither at the time of booking nor during the journey." Photocopies of the same were produced to the TTI. However the TTI did not listen, misbehaved and threatened. We had to pay Rs. 1620 as excess fare ticket charges amounting to Rs. 1620.00 vide receipt No. C813249 dt 29.7.10.

Kindly take necessary actions against the TTI and help us get the refund.
