Indian railway service disappointing as usual

Train: 06049 Mangalore Express

Reservation 2tyre AC.

I was hoping for my parents to have a clean and pleasant trip and hence booked 2nd AC tickets for them.

But from the experience they had, am not sure if there is any moe upper classes in the railways which would provide some cleanliness atleast.

The train was filled with bed bugs and cockroaches as it is always in sleeper compartments, but thought it would be different in 2nd AC where they charge you a fortune for a small distance travel.

Restrooms stinking with no proper facilities.

I know this is an everyday story for the train travelers but would want to share this horrific experience and i guess Indian railways would be the only commuting source where there is no value for money.

And being one of the largest railway networks in the world, this is indeed more than disappointing.

I believe cleanliness is not a big ask when you travel. Please bring this into notice of whosoever is responsible.
