Renewal of smart Card

My Smart card no is WR0167987, and it got expire in Nov or dec. When I had gone on the Railway counter in Bhayander East to enquire about the same, they were saying that card got expire, throw them out. When I said to him that how can I throw this as in it the balance was there of more than Rs.50 and security deposit of Rs.50 which is refundable, he directly refuses no.

When I said that take another Rs.100 and recharge he again refuses the same, and was misbahaving withe me that dont eat my headache and go. Is this the way to speak
