I came to Pune station to load my bike and after paying waybill charge and packed my bike,

Date:10th November

onl my request, in-charge of parcel loading told me that in next 7 days, your parcel (bike) will be reached in ahmedabad junction parcel department and u don't need to check with this Pune Railway station parcel loading but check at destination after week.

As per in-chage's advice and no any rules/guidance mentioned regarding inquiry and fines for any delay, behind Waybill that only document issued by Railway to me as customer. And I posted my original documents with wa bill so that my brother can receive my bike from Ahmedabad Railway station.

After week, I inquired at destination (Ahmedabad Railway station about my bike and came to know that

my bike was made reached very next day morning from the date of my submitting bike and documents'p photocoplies at Pune Railway station.

Now, Ahmedabad Parcell Division (APD), demanded to pay Rs.1250 to release my bike/parcel even though I paid legal amount at Pune railway station.

The reason APD showed that this is fine for Date of Parcel Reached to Date of Parcel releasing by customer.

I told about what Pune Railway Parcel division that:

bike will reach in week.

we can not give you date and time of dispatching/loading of parcel/bike

No guidelines/rules for customer for parcel receiving/delievry behind only document; Waybill.

BUT I had to pay to collect bike.

I then, have written application to reimburse/ return my 1200/- paid amount as I am not in fault but

no reply received from said regional authority.

What should I do?
