Fraud in service

IRCTC's booking service opens at 8.00AM. I checked booking availability in http://erail.in for Howrah - Mumbai CST, Train No. 2321 (Howrah Mumbai Mail) at 7.55AM to see that its 24 for 3AC and 120 for SL class.

I immidiately started booking at 8.00AM sharp and went through filling up all the fields. Soon after reaching the final page for hitting GO button to select mode of payment, the site instead redirected me back to Plan My Travel page to start the process all afresh. This happened not once, not twice but four times.

I again checked the availabily and it turned out to be WL4 for 3AC and WL33 for SL class at 8.10AM. Can anyone explain how these many seats got booked in such a short time?

I challenge IRCTC to come up with proper explanation for this. Everyone knows agents convince IRCTC to do such fraud, don't know in what way, in how much price! But its truly useless of having online booking. I would never again think of using IRCTC's online booking portal.
