Damage to my luggage

I was travelling from Bangalore to New Delhi in the month of May . while collecting my baggage i foung that my Aristocrat suitcase had broken. I complaint to the authorities to which they responded by taking my baggage for scrutiny. After 100s of phone calls and threats to approach consumer court I was given a replacement for my Aristocrat bag. However the changed bag is the most basic model costing around 2300/- whereas my model was for 4700/-. I have stopped travelling from jetlite flight eversince and have persuaded around 50 freinds and relatives of mine to do the same.
