National Insurance
Policy not sent even after payment

I had a insurace policy (360901/31/09/6100003658 from 27-12-09 to 26-12-10) for my car (DL8CE4783) with National Insurance, 620, Somdutt Chamber-II, 9, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi, 110066 . I renewed it by sending cheque (422940 for Rs. 1469) which got encashed on 28-12-10. Till date (7-1-11) the policy has not come to me while i am getting harassed by police for not having valid insurance papers for my car.

Is this the customer care provided by the National Insurance Co. Ltd.
