Reservation problem

Dear Sir

Today (10 September I went at 2:30 PM to Gomti Nagar Lucknow train reservation counter for ticket reservation from lucknow to Gorakhpur by Barauni Lucknow Express (Train No 15204).

When I asked for General Kota Ticket AC 3, the clerk aged 35 years replied that in general there is waiting and in Tatkal only one ticket is available and if I will do delay this also may be waiting, and told me

To write TATKAL on requisition slip and given me the ticket in tatkal kota.

When I checked this in internet within 30 minute at 3.15 PM, I found that there is 21 ticket available in General kota. Then I again went to reservation office at Gomti Nagar Reservation counter and discussed with this chief reservation officer. Then they consider the fact and issued me fresh general kota confirmed ticket and canceled the old tatkal kota ticket without taking cancelation charges.

My worry is that since I am educated and aware about right, but the common people may be cheated by this way.

I want to draw your attention that in many times in general kota ticket is available while in tatkal kota it is waiting, and this may be possible that reservation clerk use this type of tactis to increase revenue.

Please consider my complain so that common people can be benifitted.
