Offering Gift against Rs.599 on flight
There a wrist watch of brand "Paul Phillippe" has been offered against Rs. 599, on my flight from Bangalore to Mumbai which I had collected from AVA at Mumbai airport on 31st Dec. But, on using the watch, me and my whole family missed the next flight to Doha -- Reason: the watch was not working correctly and I thought I was on time and had to pay Rs. 70, 000 extra to purchase new tickets for my whole family . worse was the old tickets were not refundable. and I had to stay one extra day in a Mumbai hotel. To make matters worse, my children could not attend class on time and I could not attend duty for that day. One of the worst days of my life.
I thought it will work again if I change the battery, but to my horror I nearly missed an important meeting with a client because of the faulty movement of the watch.
What a loss Losing almost Rs. 1 Lakh for a watch which costed Rs. 60!!
And one more thing I want to tell you is before coming to the airport I had just given my old watch which was in good condition to my cousin!
I will never again travel on Air India.
