Overcharge of excess baggages

I had booked two Air India online tickets through yatra.com on 17 June. (Yatra reference number-17061017084). Flight Itinerary - Airline- IC-Indian ; Dept- Kolkatta ; Arrival - Aizawl ; Departure date- 08 July ; Arrival- 08 July ; Dept time- 7:45 AM ; Arrival Time - 9:05:00 AM.; Class of service- T ; Airline PNR - 37CU9N ; IATA No - 14363904.

I print-out the tickets after receiving an email from them, I read all the terms and conditions thoroughly and never saw a slight mention about (1) the allowed amount weight of a passenger's baggage.(2) the quality, size (big or small) of the aircraft. (3) The differences between the small and big aircraft concerning the amount of weight of a passenger's luggage. eg- Big aircraft- 25 kgs & Small aircraft - 15 kgs apprx.

My serious complaint about overcharging is that the airlines guys in kolkatta charge us Rs, 1950 for excessing by 20 kgs. When I enquire about it, they told me that 15 kgs is the allowed weight for one passenger in a small plane! I understand this. But, they should have inform us at the first hand or mention in the tickets' terms and condition. We had no idea what kind of aircraft they are going scheduled. Usually, 25 kgs is the normal allowed weight in every airlines in India. I had been flying with Indigo, Kingfisher, jetlite etc... but never been charge for excess before, because I'd always adjust & make sure my bags are on a correct weight.

It may be only a few thousands for many peoples, but I don, t care! My pregnant wife and had to suffered high tension and shock of how the airlines were dealing with us. I told them that we are packing

our luggage thinking that 25 kgs is the allowed weight for 1 passenger!! Still we may excess about 5 kgs which we are willing to pay right away. But, this is the cheapest way to trick the passengers for filling up their pockets!!! They should inform us about this kind of information before!! But they won't!! WHY!!!??? Because... they want to corner their passenger and left them with no choice but to pay in the last minute!!! Cheap Corruption!! SHAMEFUL!!!

I hope and pray this unfortunate experience will bring some positive change to Air India.
