Sole cut

I have purchased a power sandal from bata showroom 50 days back. and now the sole of the sandal has been cut. my problem is inspite of paying so much money for quality product why are we given such a low quality product. the shop is located at bhayander near maxus mall. they showroom is ready to compensate only 50% of the amt bt my question is why are we given such a bad quality product at such high cost. even after paying 50% i feel like not buying from the same showroom. they don't have collection which fits to my budget.
