Wrist watch not working

I Have subsribed to scratch and win offier given by SBI cards and after paying Rs499 i got a Sandiego Polo Club Wrist Watch SR .in Nov But did not use.

Now when i want to use the said watch is not working even after removing the plastic piece from the pin. Today I have called on 022- 40791234 i was told that the the warranty is over & i need to get the watch repaired from local shop at my cost.

Before that i have shown the watch to local shop i was told that this is a duplicate watch costing not more than 250 Rs.& the machine was to be replaced since the same is not working and the for Rs.150 .He also told me to get it repaired from the original manufacturere.

I think this is a case of deceiving consumer.
