Hush Puppies by Bata
Defective Soles

I had purchased a pair of Hush Puppies men's shoe from Bata store in Kanpur. After just 4 months the sole of one foot cracked. I took up the matter with the store owner who advised to take up the matter with the company directly. Upon contacting the company, they asked me to go to the store where they had already instructed to replace the pair at 50% cost. I refused to accept the claim and again contacted the company and after several phone calls, they replaced the pair free of cost.

Now after 10 months of occasionally wearing the new pair, the sole has again cracked. Complaints this time are unanswered, apart from a single line reply that complaints are attended only for 60 days period after purchase
