Annual Maintenance Contract

I had entered into an Annual Maintenance Contract for my computer and printer with the following company during October –

for which I had given an advance payment vide Cheque no. 268483 dt. 05.10.2011 for Rs. 799 from my Account no. 037801000215 with ICICI Bank Ltd., Janak Puri C-Block Branch, New Delhi.

The contract was to run from 05.10.2011 to 04.10.2012 and mandated at least 8 visits to my premises during the year. However, despite me calling up the company from time to time there has not been a single visit by their representative. Now even their phone numbers are not reachable and there is no response to the email communications that I have been sending them.

I would like the consumer court to investigate this company who have taken money from people and vanished overnight.
