Not getting Warranty from HP

Dear Team,
We bought Compaq-HP laptop and faced lots of issues since day one. We interacted with one of the HP service center at Hisar. During repair battery sticker having CT number was removed by service center engineer. We don't know whether it was knowingly or non knowingly. We addressed this issue to service center and person said, we should not worry in case there would be any issues with the battery, they will provide the service.
Now HP has changed their vendor at Hisar location and same battery is having issues. Both service center and HP has refused to give warranty without CT number sticker on the battery. If sticker was removed by HP service center not by customer then why customer should bear the battery replacement cost. Laptop is still under warranty.
