Lcd problem

I bought a hcl laptop on jan witha a waranty of one year... and now i am facing a problem with its screen... when i consulted the engineer they said to replace with new lcd display woth rs.7000/-...with in one year i got this problem, why dont the company take the responsibilty of repalcing it...

please give me a solution
