No order processing

My order for harddisk (with free reebok watch, reebok wallet and keychain, and the free travel/hotel bookings) was confirmed on 2nd Feb. When I called on 12 Feb I was told that it is in process and it should be delivered soon.
But when I called today (24 Feb), I was told that the processing has been closed on 17th Feb itself as the product is out of stock.
No one in ITBC/BagItToday had the decency or courtesy to let me know that. I came to know ONLY WHEN I called ITBC the status and that they are starting the process for refunding the money. Dont know by this rate when will the refund comes...
When charging the money from customer, they do that in a single day, then why can't it be the communicated (let alone returned) in one day? That too without the customer calling?
They send lot of emails advertizing their products. Then why can't they send one simple email letting the customer know the status of his order? That too when they have cancelled it without informing the customer?
Calling their customer service failed to get me the answers...:(
I am sorry to say that it has been a really a disappointing service. For me it looks like a ploy to use customer money without any charges/interest.
