MODCARE ENTERPRISES IS FROUD DEALER OF HP

Dear All,

We had purchased 1 (one) Hewlett-Packard ink Cartridge/Toner (model-Q2610A) for Rs. 6215/- (inclusive of taxes) from Modcare Enterprises, Red Rose Building, 49-50 Nehru Place, New Delhi-110019 on 6th July.

On installing the newly purchased toner, we were shocked to see that the toner sold to us was not in a brand new condition but was a second hand toner and was already used and print outs taken from the newly installed toner were very light and not legible at all.

On 7th July itself we sent the toner for replacement to your authorized replacement centre at Redington India Ltd. at E-48/4, Okhla Phase-II, New Delhi. The replacement centre informed us vide its letter dated 7th July that the toner cannot be replaced citing following reason:- “CHIP CHANGED, DRUM IS COMPLETELY USED”.

We are at pains to have such an experience with a reputed organization like Hewlett-Packard. We write this letter with a hope that necessary action would be taken against the dealer Modcare Enterprises who should take due care and responsibility in selling HP products. Kindly take note of this serious fraud taking place in the name of HP and defrauding its customers by selling them used/secondhand cartridges in new packed boxes.

It is in the larger benefit of HP to take action against such dealers because such an experience will only bring a bad name to the reputation and goodwill of HP in the market.
