Fault in DVD ROM of D-725 laptop

I had purchased an Acer D-725 (Serial NoLXN440C047936BF8622200) on 23rd October from M2K INFOTEK at Dhanbad (Jharkhand). Bill no. is M2K/945. However, from last 15 day the lap top has been giving me problems in its DVD ROM. DVD ROM is not working properly.

I am absolutely amazed as to how such a defective piece passed your quality checks especially in the view of you being one of the best known names in the business. This defect has made me take leave just to hand over and collect the lap top. Further, this has put me into so much of an ordeal that I had to borrow a machine to complete my various tasks. Despite your assurances I am not all convinced that this issue will be rectified and till then I have to make alternate arrangements so as to carry on my daily routine tasks.
