Unnecessary Suspension of account

I am a senior citizen and I am a regular consumer of Indane gas for cooking (consumer No 2831). I wanted to book a gas on the 18th March. To my horror I was told by the distributor TUCS, Tiruvanmiyur that my account has been suspended and have got to get it cleared by the Indane Dept of Indian oil!! The reason he stated was that my last cylinder was ordered more than 6 months ago. Hence as per rules programmed into the IOC computer the number turns out to be under suspension. Indane should be happy that at least there is a person using gas so economically! I am also using the electrical Induction Cooker judiciously. Hence consumption is low. Instead of appreciating my economical use of the Indane gas they have decided to suspend the gas account which is highly objectionable! I request through these columns to inform Indian Oil / Indane Gas Dept that my account should not be suspended, and forthwith lift the suspension to enable me to get a refill.
