False Comitment of Warranty

Myself, Rachit Kumar of N-429, Sector 25, Jalvayu Vihar, Noida had purchased a Tubular battery from Gaurav Agencies by brand name of " Modern Battery" for my existing inverter of same Brand " Modern Inverter" which I had purchsed from them only. I purchsed the Battery on 19 December with a Warranty card mentioning warranty of 30 months.

My inverter battery stopped working since 24 February and I registered a complaint to Modern Inverter service centre at 0120-2430368 which was attended by them and when their service engineer came to my home he asked to pay him the AMC charges or Visit Charge of Rs. 250/-. When I asked him why should we pay him Rs. 250/- as his visit charge as the battery is under warranty, he told us that he is illiterate and does not consider the warrant. I

I asked him whether there is a problem with my inverter he said that there is no problem with the inverter and needs to be paid Rs. 250/- as his visit charge in order to check for the problem in battery which is under warranty till May.

We request you to kindly take appropriate action against Gaurav Agencies (Mr. Than Singh, Phone - 0120 - 6527081), so that in near future this should not happen to any of other client and this typr of illegal practices should be stopped.
