Correction in DOB issued by CBSE

Sir,

Due to illetracy of mother my DOB was recorded as 05-02-1961 whereas actually as per the certificate issued by the registrar of birth and death Chandigarh it is 05-02-1962. Now after so many years I am facing the problem from the passport authorities saying that both the records should be same. I can not change the certificate issued by the Registrar of birth and death Chandigarh as it is the actual. Can I request you to kindly change the DOB in AISC certificate as per the Original and actual DOB certificate issued by the Registrar of birth and death Chandigarh. What should I do to make this change ; may please help me.
