Electronics and household app.
I bought a Nokia 6233 just 4 months back and one day when i tried to change the SIM by switching off the phone but it didn't turned Off so I took out the battery and replaced the SIM but then the phone never turned ON.
I immediately took it to Nokia Care, Vashi Centre, Navi Mumbai and was amazed to find that the On/Off switch was not functional, being in warranty period I requested them for the free service, since the mobile had this issue from the beginning which never came to my notice since it was for the first time I used the On/Off switch, but they promptly denied my request and added that they'll fix it with a charge of 250/- to which i agreed.
I collected the phone a day later when they asked for my battery and SIM, and turned the phone On. At that very moment I tested the phone and again it never turned On this time the service in charge told me that the switch has been broken and need to be replaced which will cost me 550/- more. I asked them why then they have charged me 250/- earlier promising that it would fix the problem. But again with no other option available I had to give them 550/- so it coasted me a sum of 800/- in the process and my only fault could be trusting Nokia and purchasing their product.
