Blackberry curve 9300
Warranty disregarded

I was a BB fan till yesterday, when I received a ridiculous mail from them on account of my first encounter with them regarding service. I am one of the unfortunate users whose Curve 9300 had an inherent problem with the freezing track pad. After trying a number of ways like removal of battery and OS reloading, I finally handed it over to the Kolkata Service Center, it being under warranty.

I received this reply:

"The handset is irreparable due to liquid damage. The handset will not be considered in warranty. The handset can be repaired on chargeable basis, the estimation of the repair/replacement is Rs. 12, 757/&-quot;

The problem has been there from almost the very beginning and the original cost of the phone was 13, 000/- when I bought it...

I really don't have much to say after this... just terribly disgusted!!
