BLACKBERRY CURVE SMART PHONE
NOISE PROBLEM

I had purchased blackberry curve 9300 grey smart phone in July, 11 from dealer in jaipur.

The phone worked fine but since march, 12 there was only noise while listening in the handset and rest was absolutely fine.

I went to service centre Redington India Limited in c scheme jaipur on 1st March, 12 was told that will be send to gurgaon to checked will come in

maximum 10 to 15 days.

I waited for call from service centre but no call came then i called the service centre on 2nd April, 12 was told that the phone has come back.

I went to the service centre on 2nd april, 12 evening was shocked to find that the set was not repaired and came without repairing even though it had just noise problem and rest was fine.

I was told that the phone cannot be repaired and was asked to pay Rs 180/- as servive charge even though the phone is in warranty till July, 12 .

I told them why should I pay but they said it is blackberrys policy.

I tried to call the customer care numerous times but had to wait for almost 30 minutes.

I am very annoyed with blackberry as they are not contactable.

I had purchased the set for 14, 500/- and also was told that if I want to get my phone repaired I have to pay Rs 1- .

I do not understand why should I pay 80% of total cost of phone for simple noise problem.
