Defect phone

Sony Ericson SK17i sucks, had bought this one month back and the touch screen started losing its sensitivity from the very next day, when i called at the call center, they reported that this phone has a manufacturing defect and this will be easily resolved in few minutes at the service centre, with heavy heart i took my brand new phone to the centre after two weeks of purchase. The service centre asked me to deposit the phone and informed me that this cannot be repaired at the moment and need to get the part from the company and that i will receive the phone in 15 days. After following up after 15 days, the service centre says that they have not received the part from the company and cannot give a tentative date and that there is no response from the company at all and they cannot help me and asked me to wait till they call me once it is repaired. Now, one month has passed after my submission of the phone to the service centre. i am yet to hear from the service centre. After spending Rs. 15500 only because of the brand name, i am regretting why i had to purchase minipro when there are many cheap android phones in the market with the similar features. The brand is no longer a brand, it does not care for the customers, service is pathetic. i had bought this phone from NEW TIRUPATI CELLULAR Invoice no. CC13451, wanowari, Pune and submitted my phone to SAP Mobile Service Centre, Dadar, Mumbai work order number: SE1148811416

as a consequence i was without a phone for 15 days had to face issues at office because i work for capgemini and sales team and we need to be on calls many times and had to buy another phone which was a additional hit to my budget.
