CAPRI DEW-300 Electronic Voltage Corrector
As per Specification not working

From here I purchased Electronic Voltage Corrector on 21 May from a Vendor. Vendor supply me DEW-300 Capri & told me it is capable upto 3Kva Load. There is no such Specification in Packing of DEW-300. I gave him two checks (2875 3000=5875 Rs). But when I connect this to mains in the midnight when voltage increased to 200Volt the Output from this Appliances increased upto 270Volt. Specification of Product is max output voltage is 240 Volt. Due to this boost of voltage my home appliances got hot & burning smell occured. I complaint this to vendor but vendor is not responding propery. From company DUGGAR POWER SUPPLIES Delhi I got Information that this model is capable of 2Kva only. Vendor from which I purchased this avail me from Dealer of Capri Indore.

Please help me. Any time this higher voltage may damage my appliances.
