Non-payment of claim

Sir,

I sent a apple ipod which costs me Rs 15000 on 10 jan of consignment no. V038002259. which is lost by dtdc during transit, as told by them. i wallet was stolen at a railway station and i lost my consignment reciept too. i applied for the claim but they are not agreed to give the claim without original reciept, which is not possible me to show. very hardly i collected the money for ipod and sent it to chennai as gift for my brother. there should be a alterntive solution for my claim. they know very well that i sent the consignment through their service.
