Horrible after sales service

Electronics and household app.

I had purchased a FABER kitchen chimney model number, “Solaris 680 LTW 90 SS” on 13.6.09. While purchasing we were told that our after sales service is great and we also have the life time warranty scheme against some ranges of products. So after the purchase on 13.6.09 the chimney starts malfunctioning within one year and now it has stopped working totally.

I tried to contact the customer care centre but most of the time the phone was not picked up and sometimes the line remains engaged. After trying for 2 to 3 days finally I got the line and launched a complaint, “F5/370”. The very next day a technical person came and his technical knowledge was horrible and he could not even recognize the exact problem. Then again I had reregistered a complaint against the same docket number. Then also a technician came on the very next day and he told that the problem is occurring due to the motor and it needs to be replaced and he also told that we will be contacted very soon from the service centre. After his visit almost 2 weeks has passed away but no response from their side. Now the condition of the chimney has become worst and it has stopped working completely and now it is of no use to me.

I would personally recommend to buy any products from Faber because it's after sales service is horrible.
