I bought Onida Touch DVD Player from CMR Central in Visakhapatnam. The sales man switched on the piece and showed that power was coming and also demonstrated that dvd slot is opening & closing.

When I went home I found that the piece is full of scratches on the touch panel which were not visible in the shop lights and worse, the remote was not functioning. All the corners of the DVD and the slots have dust and appears to be used piece. The DVD plater being touch model would not work without remote.

I visited the shop within 4 days and insisted for replacement and also demanded explanation for selling me an used player.

They simply acknowledged the defective piece and assured of repair!

Why do I need repaired piece? Where is the end for this kind of sales? Can U help?
