I should first thank Godrej for the world worst service given by godrej smart care.
It seems that this the simplest way to fool a customer and generate the revenue in name of amc.
I had purchased a 1.2 ton window ac (serial no. 1027680002934) and took amc for one year on 13.05.10 assuring of best services by godrej but after much calls and request for continuous 2 months i was informed that due to manpower shortage and work pressure we are unable to provide u service and after that a person comes and says he does not have much time so will clean only the filter part and go and that would be enough for the dry service we had paid for. he just took the filter cleaned it with a cloth refixxed it and was gone within 5 mins. this type of dry service was provided for the 3 dry service and before one month of the end of the amc one of your executive came and asked for the cheque for Rs. - plus tax for one year of new amc. according to the executive the 4th wet service would be provided once the old amc is about to be lapsed i.e. on 12.05.11, we explain abt the quality of the service but the executive ignored the same and said we can't help you in this matter you have to complain to the customer care number, I have just come to collect the cheque of the new amc. we denied for the cheque and as a result the executive was very angry and again and again she was asking for the cheque ignoring the quality of service we had received and the compalints we are making to her we again simply denied and asked her to leave. The next day we received another call from another executive saying they would give us two yrs amc in - plus tax and he assured good service, so we gave the cheque for two yrs amc, still our one wet service was due.
after giving the cheque we had given many calls to the customer care number and everytime we are assured of the same thing a so called good service, but till date no one has turnedup. Once your customer care executive said that due to manpower shortage we are unable to provide you good service. please contact the service person directly and see if he can help u out. We didnot contact the service person.
At the time of taking cheque the executive assures us good service and also explains us what the service person would do while giving the dry service and while giving the wet service,
but the service person doesnot gives any of the services.
Last year also after the summer season was over the service person came for servicing and this year also we have done lots of complaints but i think that the person would come only after the summer season is over so what is the use of ac when we cannot use the ac in the summer season.
If this is the service of the godrej then i feel I have done a mistake by purchasing godrej appliances and should complain to the consumer forum abt the type of service the company is providing. and would also request godrej to take back their AC so that we can purchase a new brand with a good service
