Nokia care rejected to repair the phone

My 15 months old Nokia-N97 stopped charging when I try to charge it. I have submitted it to Nokia care in Hyderabad and it was sent to Delhi. Later, Nokia care rejected my phone with reason as not repairable.
If Nokia India cannot repair a Rs 35, 000 costing expensive phone for simple problem of charging, how can customers rely on the N-series smart phones that Nokia is selling.
Nokia Care really does not care, once the phone is sold.
