Activation of SIM Card

I have a complaint with respect to activation of my IDEA Prepaid SIM card. The no. is 9702156805 and the SIM card no. is 89917990061196672169. I have taken this SIM about one month back and was following up with the IDEA cellular Rahul Telecommunication, Phadke Road, Dombivali (East) branch for activation of the SIM. Initially when I went there for activation I was told to come next day. Then when I went next day they said it will get activated soon, but even then it did not get activated. Afterwards I came to know that they had not sent the form. Later on, they said to dial the no. 2222 for activating, I tried this many times but the SIM did not get activated. This went on for many days and every time I was told to do the same. After some days they took information of my SIM no. but even after providing the information the SIM did not get activated. I asked them to lodge a complaint about the same but they said no we cannot take the complaint, the card is activated. Though they were saying this the card was actually not activated. Now, I came to know that the SIM has gone to recycle and now they are saying that nothing can be done.

I would like to look into this matter and do the needful. Why should a customer suffer so much? Inspite of regular followups for activation the card was not activated. It was totally some fault from IDEA cellular side. So I would like to do something by which the card can be activated or they should provide me with a new SIM as a replacement for the old one.
