Retrieving lost SMS messages

I would be extremely grateful if someone could tell me how to retrieve messages I accidentally deleted from my mobile phone. The lost messages include some very very important and invaluable ones, including bank account numbers and several passwords. Please consider this as an SOS and come to my rescue.
