I have purchased a front end load washing machine with model number Elite Dx 5.5 kg on 9th oct. 2010.
Due to some technical problems, the machine stopped working on 29th Jan and the same day i lodged a complain with the customer care dept of the IFB Home appliances with complaint number 5820827.
The company's technician attended the complaint only on 1st feb., that after 4 days of lodging the coomplaint. After inspecting the machine he told me that the PCB of the machine is to be replaced and it may take 2-3 days time.
10 days have passed since and the company has not taken any step to replace the PCB. I have been following up the matter with their local service centre and call centre. The local service centre said that the spare is not available with them and it has to come from ahmedabad. today i spoke to thier representative at ahmedabad (Mr. Ketan Hingu) and he informed me that it will take further 3 days as there is an acute shortage of spare parts.
Is this the way, such a renowned home appliances co. is treating its customers? its a shame that even after 14 days have passed, they r not able to rectify my problem.
