Touch screen not responding

The touch screen of the Imedia Touch Screen Mobile Phone - Itouch is not responding. The phone cannot be unlocked by sliding the touch screen at all i.e the menu icons cannot be reached. The phone was purchased from home shop 18 through invoice no 124/349 dated 30/01 to me consignee SUBHRO . suppliers ref no mpdl order no 702584819, sub order no 72700291, paid cash on delivery to blue dart dated 03/02 for RS. 5499/-. There is no authorised dealer nearby and the local dealers are unable to solve the problem in the mobile. I am very upset due to the unavailability of service in the city like GWALIOR M.P, i am feeling guilty of purchasing the product from HOME SHOP 18.
