I am writing this forum in sheer desperation, and not sure if it actually yields any results. To cut a long stroy short, I made an order no 112015667 for Sony DSC W200 digital camera on 1st Nov. The site suggested that the order was shipped on 7th Novemeber by a mysterious courier service which the customer cannot trace. I have been calling ever since from that day till now to Indiatimes that I have not yet received the product.
The CC agenets are trained to apologise and lie blatantly and confidently. Till 23 Nov I was beeing assured that the product will be arrannged for me. On 23 Nov I got a call from Indiatimes, and was infirmed that the order is cancelled and I will get my refund in 4 working days. Today is 7 Dec I have already recived the same promise 3 times during this duration, the latest being 5 days promise on 4 Dec.
I had been making online purchases in India for last 5 years, and had never encourntered such a situation.
Can anyone advice me on legal action against Indiatimes. I am willing to spend some money to teach them a lesson in ethical and moral behavious along customers care.
