Purchased one no of ro - water purifying system from the above vendor on 17.09.2010 on cash purchase of 7500 rs with the brand name of jaquar. No guarantee / Warranty card supplied with the product. Only delivery challan with challan number 411 (written manually) given at the time of fitting. When asked, we were told that it is having one year guarantee & no need of any card, please call us any time & we shall provide the service. From last two days, the system was malfunctioning. Called the vendor on 29.06.2010 in the morning & their technician arrived in the night at around 20:30 hrs on the same day. He told that one part named "membrane" is out of order & needed to be changed. The technician again came on 30.06.2010 with another person, checked the system & declared that the "carbon" filter is out of order. When contacted to the vendor, he told that we need to pay 1600 rs for replacing the defective parts. When reminded about the guaranty, we were told that it was only on pump & for other parts, it was only 6 months. We told that it should have told to us at the time of purchase. We feel victimized as we were not given any document describing guarantee & when we purchased in good faith assuming the guarantee of one year, we are cheated of the service.
