No Support for tracking lost handset

Last month while getting down from Autorikshaw, lost my mobile handset. An official complaint is registered in Kasarvadawali police station.

(FIR). Being postpaid,

I got some numbers where the person contacted after getting my handset. I called on those numbers however they are from Uttar Pradesh and their language is not understandable. This information was shared with Police as well Nokia centers. Nokia care person told to track mobile from Police station on the basis of IMEI Number as only police department has given authority for tracking. However police inspector denied the same.

In such cases, what should I do? Why should I buy mobile from Nokia if not supportive for tracking?
