Attery backup problem

I am using Nokia 5610 Xpress music phone since 3 1/2 years, from the past 3 months i am getting battery backup problem, so that i purchased a new Nokia original battery, but still i am getting same problem, it is hardly giving only 6 hours standby, so i went to Nokia care and complained about this. An executive in that store said me that this complaint is from phone's inner board, there is nothing to do with that, and advised me to purchase a new phone... Is this the way Nokia makes the phones work very worse, . How can i threw my phone that i purchased it for 12, 000 INR?

how can i resolve this problem, anyone please suggest.
